Wellbeing Café

Every Tuesday 5pm–6.30pm, our Wellbeing Café is open at Star House for you to socialise over drinks and snacks. We do arts and crafts, listen to music, play games and chat about life in general. If you want somewhere to chill after school or work, this is the place.

For ages 13–25 (over/under 18s meet separately).

Everyone is welcome and you can just turn up, no booking required.

Wellbeing Wednesdays

Every Wednesday you can access one-to-one emotional support in-person at Star House, over the phone or by video call.

Just call 0114 201 2800 or email us on [email protected] to book a slot – you can do this from Monday morning onwards, for slots during the Wednesday of that week.

We then call you back for a 30-minute chat between 11am–4pm.

One-to-one structured support

If you think talking regularly about how you’re feeling or about something you’re going through would be helpful, we can offer up to eight one-to-one support sessions.

We offer this individualised and structured support to young people where counselling isn’t the best option for them. Usually focused around a specific topic, such as anger management or anxiety, we offer up to eight weeks of support. These sessions can be in person, over the phone or by video call.
