Star House: a space for Sheffield’s young people
Open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Nestled in the city centre, on the corner of Division Street and Carver Street, sits Star House. A space dedicated to Sheffield’s young people, Star House offers sanctuary, support, and social activity.
A work in progress.
We want the space to be shaped and designed by young people. Have your say.
Star House is unique. Ask any young person and they’ll tell you the same thing: there aren’t enough youth spaces in the city centre.
We’re incredibly proud to be the stewards of this space, protecting and preserving it for Sheffield’s young people.
But it’s not just us! Star House is home to other incredible organisations, whether they’re long-term tenants or welcome visitors.
What to expect on your visit
Star House is a welcoming space for young people age 11-25.
You don’t need to have a reason to visit. Whether you want somewhere quiet to read a book, a meeting point for friends, or a place to play games or get online – the space is yours to use.
You may also be coming to Star House for an appointment with one of the services based here. Our friendly Reception team will greet you and let your worker know that you’re here. Feel free to hang out in the space before/after your appointment.
While you’re here, help yourself to free tea, coffee or hot chocolate from our drinks tray.
